Comment:	"Scripture Bashing" Yes, not very nice words. What saddens me is when throw away lines of scripture are used against folks who are questioning or searching for a faith in God. I am reminded of the word Grace, and within all of our conversations whether face to face or over the internet need to be soaked in Grace. What does the word Grace mean? well the most simple explainations are: "Beauty or Charm, A quality pleasing for its charm or refinement, generous or helpful, Goodwill, Mercy, Divine love and protection bestowed freely on people, and finally a state of being protected or made Holy by the favour of God". Sharing our faith in a scriptural way with others I believe should always be done with great Grace and never in a way that is "Scripturally Bashing" another person. It is great to debate and discuss passages of scripture with one and other, and especially with friends of differing denominations. Through these discussions we may find different understandings of interpretation of scripture but again these conversations can be beneficial if exchanges are discussed in Grace. If not we have problems, and these differences in understanding should never cause tensions and problems between friends. Sometimes it is healthy and wise to agree to disagree. Music in church, Traditional v Modern. Such a controversial issue in many churches. From a personal point of view I think it is great to have a mixture. The modern music is fabulous and some of our traditional hymns are wonderful. The old traditional lyrics/meaning needs to be enjoyed and appreciated in worship and not lost. Each church needs to find what is best for them as a whole church family, and to take into consideration the needs of the majority and not just the few. Great article Paul.
