Comment:	The fact these people are almost idolized and in the public eye makes this kind of thing especially more susceptible to disgracing the Christian message. The message of the cross of Christ is not just forgiveness while we maintain a life of willful sin, but that we can be given power over sin. If the cross has no power over sin in our personal lives, then what saves us from sin is death, since we expect to be sinless after we die, right? Events like this do show our needs, but, as David was told, it gives much opportunity for God's enemies to blaspheme his Name.
