Comment: Nice write up by Mike Rimmer on this fresh new face of ccm. The Fall of 1999, before the millenium we hear this welcome debut wtg Bebo. The songs echo with a voice of passion that grab the listener's attention. I highly applaud his songwriting. Ed Cash produced this body of Heaven sent works; he would later work with top CCM artist Amy Grant in co-writing "The Water"(2004). I am so taken by these songs, hard to pin point top favorites. Commendable is the starter "Walk Down This Mountain", "The Hammer Holds" with Bebo on acoustic: The piano wrenching sound of "Deeper Still" speaks, with it's great bgv: thanks to Mark Stallings for wondrous piano. The listener can feel the inner peace eminating from the songs heard on this cd. "The Man Inside" is a great song, let us sing with the man inside. I love the simple beauty of "In YOUR Hands", great acoustic by Bebo. What a great poetic story conveyed in "A Page is Turned". "Selwood Farm" would be a top notch country hit. Bebo's thought provoking lyrics for last song "Rita" is for every heart during a great uncomprehendable loss in this life. We are blessed to hear these songs. GOD Bless! - Don
