Comment:	This is exactly the reason why I informed Greenbelt last year, after being a regular attender since the early 90's when I became a Christian, that I could no longer support them because of the direction they are going in. If I wanted a secular festival, there are plenty to choose from. I want a festival for Christians that builds up faith and showcases the breadth and wealth of Christian music in both the mainstream and the Christian subculture. I'm afraid that to say they are rooted in the Christian tradition is a misnomer as I have found in the past couple of years, very worryingly, very little Christianity at the festival. Even the communion service seems to be more secular then sacred from my experience (I am a vicar). We are called to be in the world but not of it - to be engaged with it but to be distinctive. I think Greenbelt has lost this and has sold itself out in order to become a more accepted festival in the mainstream market. I pray that they will return to their actual roots that celebrates the Christian arts and music.
