Comment:	The answer is to dis-establish both the Church of England and marriage. Let Civil Partnership be the legal act for all, therby securing equal treatment by the state and leave marriage to religious institutions. Thereby allowing Gay people to seek religious marriage, if they wish it, through those faith denominations and sects which approve it, whilst protecting freedom of religious conviction for those who don't.
