Article Title:
Has Secularism Kept Us Safe Yet?
Author of reported comment:

Comment:
Peacocke forgot to mention all the people who have been killed by car accidents in secular societies. Much good secularism did THEM! Then there's secularism's wrecking of the ozone layer with CFCs and warming of the planet with excessive carbon emissions; secularism's failure to feed the starving; secularism's callous non-intervention in the lives of all the people harming themselves through tobacco and alcohol addiction .... The list could fill this screen, since everything bad that happens in secular societies and can't be blamed on religion must be the fault of secularism. Last year my partner broke his wrist while gardening, which, let us not forget, is a secular activity.
