Comment:	Special effects and high definitiion cameras do not a great film make. True, there is much to admire here (and I agree that Armitage and Freeman are both excellent) but I think Jackson has tied himself into knots with too many strands (such as the plots lines involving a host of superfluous guest stars). It is a goood film but not a great one and, sadly, an opportunity lost.
