Comment:
I began listening to the Caravans when I was a very little girl. I always listened to the gospel radio station. My mother was a local gospel singer and it rubbed off on me. I remember sitting by the radio every time I would get the chance just waiting for Albertina Walker and the Caravans. My day was not complete until I heard Albertina and The Caravans. I also sang with a group in Augusta, Ga. Named "The young people's choir of the air." This choir was organized and directed by one of the early members of The Caravans named Johneron Davis also a beautiful lady of Christ. This choir had over one hundred members and was dynamite until her death. As of this day, I have many of The Caravans recordings and I sing along all of the time. I will love Sister Albertina and The Caravans forever. May God bless her family.
