This top CCM sweet angelic voice keeps going strong, & we are blessed. September of 2001 brings us this 18 track spanning 20 years of Twila's greatest songs; I was a little disappointed that nothing from her debut made the songlist. The songset begins with a top powerful radio reminder to all believers that "GOD Is In Control". Traveling back to her top CCM album from '84, "The Warrior Is A Child" the title track followed by starter song from '85 lp "Runner". There are 3 new songs , "Sparks & Shadows" has that Twila Paris sound we have come accustomed to hearing, the message in the song "bringing near the very far" speaks. "We Will Glorify" from her 2nd album is included is quite a worship favorite; title track "Keepin' My Eyes On You" missed this set . Another worship song "We Bow Down" is another timeless classic. The title "Run To You" is another popular CCM title, heard from the Archers in 1991: the chorus sticks with top notch bgvs. "Faithful Father" another new song, a beautiful statement of faith. From the first time I heard "How Beautiful" it caught me, I loved it;it is the Twila we all know and love so well. I am ever reminded of Isaiah 52:7. thank you Twila. The set would not be complete without her awesome and beautiful anthem "Lamb Of GOD" followed by her powerful worship song "He Is Exalted". Title track from '88 "For Every Heart" i.e. Every Heart that is Breaking: a most well beloved song. Another new song ends the songset, a song epitomizing Twila's new life as a mother. GOD Bless, Don
