Comment:	Thank you for your comment, Phil - I have since checked with the Dutch GP in the UK, whom I quoted and yes, he still stands by his claims. Now, I realise that that temporarily leaves us in a your-word-against-mine scenario; however, he also gave me additional anecdotal evidence of one or two situations where, in the case of dementia or even just 'confusion', pressure had been put upon patients by relatives to consider Assisted Suicide, when they were in a vulnerable state to be having to consider such a path. Now, I don't know the outcome of those particular cases, but this GP advises the need to constantly listen, at all turns, both on the individual and the general levels, rather than rushing into anything. Feel free to come back to me - and even disagree - as Assisted Suicide is too serious an issue to be a taboo.
