Comment:	I don’t know Jerome! But, he’s always remembered me since I was a kid at this shows. I was young and would chat with him in person before the shows in Texas. He always mingled. I met him once in Boise at a show after graduating high school and making a toad trip to see the band. He remembered me a invited me to follow the band to Seattle and then Oregon. Fourteen years later I went to see Switchfoot play in Hawaii. I got there early while another band was playing and saw Jerome standing in the crowd. Again, he remembered me and talked to me like we were old friends. He’s a kind and quiet man. His demeanor is good and genuine and you don’t have to know him to see his good character. Jerome and Jyro shaped my character as a child like an author influences a generation. I fathom kindness, love, dreams and science fiction and God because of these two artists. I’m saddened to hear this news about a man I barely know, but I feel I’ve known my whole life. He played an important role in the influence of so many young lives, which humbly, he probably doesn’t even realize. Thank you Jerome for being a positive and Godly influence for me and the thousand other strangers whom you’ve never met. You shared a great responsibility in life and handled it well giving into the hearts and minds of so many youth. Healing was a pertinent theme in Mortal and FZ and today I pray you find it physically and spiritually as God leads you into what is to be the next stages of your life. Can’t wait to see you perform again soon. Godspeed!
