I saw Carlton & Gina Pearson this past Saturday at a funeral. While I don't believe as he does, I respect his right to believe whatever he wants. I also believe that Carlton has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Therefore, he might be well on his way to Heaven while his teaching can send others to hell. To believe that we are all saved, you really have to ignore a whole lot of the New Testament especially Luke 16:20-31:

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

If we were meant to be robots, there would have been no point to this planet... and God would have just made himself a screen play...(I think God is more into pantomime personally)...and that would be that.

There is no script to life... Only you know what is in your heart...YOU face your trials... YOU know your shortcomings...your secret sins (that you excuse, each and every time)...

We are given the bible as help...to ultimately teach us to LOVE... but we are to use ALL the tools God gave us... not just a few 'scriptures', 'anecdotes', TRADITIONS and OPINIONS adorned with buzzwords and delivered in the perfect Holy-Flavoured packaging (i.e. 'can I get an amen', 'God has been good to somebody in this room', 'halablashalanda get ready', 'hallelujah somebody', 'you know who you are'...other types of holy-flavoured packaging come in vocal inflections, screaming, hollering and blues gospel organ accompaniment...please see your local vendor for details...)!

Yes, I said it...we are creatures of habit and circumstance...

If we spent enough time focusing on how to Love 'as the father does'...we would not have time for anything else...because, guess what? LOVING, STARTS WITH YOU!

Please go and love yourselves and stop projecting your inability to do so onto others...

In my opinion...you are making God BORED...and the devil is on a long holiday...seeing as you are working so hard at being his voluntary replacement and star pupil...

Silence.

That is what we all need.

We speak so much, we miss the truth.

The bible...it has many words in it, and each man's interpretation of each word and sentence will differ from the next. The bible however is to be considered in historical, social and economic as well as spiritual and emotional context...

Its like we all wish to be spoon-fed and ignorant. You can learn something from EVERYTHING and EVERYONE!

How can you understand a word in the old testament if you don’t understand what was going on with the land at the time, what the common social/political practices were...what people used to eat...what they used to wear...what they drank...what languages they spoke...etc. etc. etc. Most of that knowledge can not be gained from the bible alone... and knowledge leads to TRUE understanding.

Knowledge + Understanding = WISDOM

Kevan Daniel, recognizing the 'so-called truth' about the heaven and hell that people like Pearson and yourself (and a few others) have made up? If you all believe that hell is here on earth you haven't seen anything yet, and I'll take God/Jesus' word over 'any' man's (persons) on any given day. And, 'NO-WHERE' in the Bible does it say, "we're all God's children", it says we're all God's creation, the title of God's children are for 'Christians' and those who've accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Don't believe me, open a Bible and read it for yourself.

Thank you Rev. Carlton Pearson, for recognizing the truth about heaven and hell. Hell is definitely here on earth and anyone who does not believe that just needs to open their eyes and look around. This has been my belief for over 20 years. Also, we are ALL Gods children and it does not matter what your race, religion, or sexual preference is, our Father love ALL of us.

I applaud Rev. Pearson!! It is NOT up to US human beings to be jury, judge and exsecutioner. I believe in respect and tolereance of ALL people not just so-called Christians. It is the kind of fanatical belief that ONLY your belief (whatever that may be) is valid that has caused so much hatred, torture and war. God is not so small that only a small fraction of the people on the earth have ALL the answers!! HOW ABSURD AND ARROGANT!!!!

Judge, judges, judgment is in the bible over 90 times with various meanings ...the bible says that God has given his children righteous judgment. When one states that Carlton Pearson is going against scripture they are using righteous judgment (as one would with saying that murder is wrong) they are not saying he is going to hell (know one knows because he is still alive and his story is not yet completed, he could change his ill perseption by tommorrow) but if he continues to teach that homosexuality is of no concern and even they will inherent the kingdom of God ...then he is going against God's word and he should stop...he is leading God's children astray. People only remember one part of the scripture where the woman was caught in the act of adultery Jesus said let he who without sin cast the first stone.....but please remember that was not the conclusion.....he also told the woman "go and sin no more. Carlton is lost and confused for whatever reason and he needs to be awakened....he will be judged by the saints for his ills against God (not condemned) and ultimately judged by God.....lets hope not condemned by his actions. The person stated Neither is it some blasphemous choice ??????

Where, beyond Judaic law, does it say that God will judge homosexuals any more than He will judge heterosexuals who have sex out of wedlock and disrespect marriage and denigrate the family? I'd like to see the scripture that says that homosexuality pays a specific fate. Is it not the act rather than the orientation? If Romans says that God gave them up to it, could they ever be free from it or is it the condition of their flesh? Paul said "I find in me, that is my flesh, NO GOOD THING". Are we too focused on judging the outward man? As much as homosexuality is a physiological phenomenon, it is in no way some gift to be celebrated or some higher consciousness. Neither is it some blasphemous choice or God's judgement. Homosexuality at best, should be considered a contradiction of religous morality...much like being left handed was 200 years ago. Think about it.

Let us all pray, for we all know in the word (if you read it) that even the elect will be deceived. Carlton Pearson is man who served as a conduit for others to come out. (T.D Jakes. Brian Keith Williams, and etc.) And the enemy would love for him to stop. I have met him 10 years ago, and he was a very humble man, and was very adamant about being true to the word, and he will go back to his first love. Carlton Pearson has been releasing, and introducing, ministers who have a present truth word. Thousands upon thousands affected. Now that is not going on, but as long we are lifting him up in prayer it won't last long. I firmly believe that God is going to bring him out, with a powerful testimony that can release millions. So lets band together as one body (In Christ) , and lift him before the Lord, and pray that his eyes be open, discernment would be in operation, and the true message of salvation will be brought back into remembrance even greater than before. And lets lift up the congregation, and ministry staff as well, because his spoken words affect them. Also we all know what the word says about homosexuality, and etc. So lets not argue, twist, or take away from the word. It proves itself every time. (you cannot help God, he doesn't need it) I am not here to condemn Bishop Pearson, or anyone else. I am not God, so I have no hell or heaven to put you in. When something is off, and it does not line up with God;s word (NIV, NKJV, and etc.) it needs to be exposed so the enemy can be stopped, so he cannot gain a large foothold in the body of Christ. Now, lets all be about the fathers business, and everything else will be taken care of by God.

It is with great fear that I realise that the standard of God is being erroded by reason. Gal 2 says if I build again those which I have destroyed I make myself a transgressor.
The devil is attacking families and we can see this by the fact divorce in even christian families is almost becoming the norm. But Jesus said, "in the begining it was not so" God ordained man to cleve to his wife... not just "partner" which is the generic word now used.
Mayt the Lord cause His word and truth to be esteemed in the church again.
