When I heard about the passing of this great gospel singers, I felt so sad. But one thing that will always remind me, that we don't belong here, this is not our home, and we are not home yet. You are now in heaven singing music all day long with the one who has given you the voice that you had.. Well, I haven't met you in person, but I felt like I have known you all my life.. I have been touched by your music.. and I'm looking forward to seeing you there one day... I always remember what George Younce said in the Cathedral dvd... "should the master call tonight, I'm packed and ready." My prayers for the extended family and friends..

A friend of mine is looking for the 'out of print' book called The Life of George Younce. If anyone has a copy they would like to sell, or know where they can be found please let me know and I will pass it along

One by one the Lord is taking his children of that era in Gospel music. For us it is sad as I feel that the men and women of God from that era had more "metal" than alot of curent christians. They had lived through the great revivals of the 20th. century and somehow it showed in their lives. George will be sadly missed and though I didn't personally know him he touched my life in a positive way.

when I came to know about my all time favourite singer has passed away I just could'nt believe it I had a long time desire that one day I'm gonna be just like him as one of the bass singer. Whenever i get the chance to performe I would always choose his songs and imitate like him. He was like my only inspiration to my talent all the credit goes to him. I know personally I could'nt meet him but one day I'll be singing with him up there in heaven.
I send my best wishes to his family and may God Almighty shower his abundant blessing.

I am so glad George has gone to heaven and so sad that he is no longer here. I have been so blessed by his singing, personality and depth of faith. I have only just heard of his death and send my best wishes to his family.

I miss George like a family member, though I never met him. His voice was quite unique. His singing changed my life. Rest in everlasting peace dear George.
