His exclusion from the group gave me the impression that he had demised - i didn't know he had gone solo..anyway all the best in your future endeavours David..you were one of a kind..i never get tired of listening to him singing.

Oh what a GOD given voice Dave has! I do miss him dearly in the Gaither recent releases - I hope to get some of your single releases soon - God Bless you!

My Wife & I always try to watch every Gaither show, Without Dave Phelps it just is not the same. We miss him, And Anthony Burger. Of course we can't bring Burger back, but hope Dave comes back occasionally.

I was in despair when I hear dof Anthiny's passing, I agree we will sorely miss David now, and I too hope to see him with the 'family' again someday.

I will miss his powerful tenor voice and may God Bless him (his family) in his future endeavours. His voice blends in perfectly with Guy, Mark and Bill. That quartet will certainly be missed.

Bill, I'm still looking forward to your new releases.

God Bless you all.

I really miss the tenor voice of David. I hope there will be a reunion of the group in the future. God bless you David in your solo venture.

david phelps has one of the best voices as we know christian music or secular. everyone in the record biz knows him. the mistake is who is helping him with these bad solo albums? and led zepplin riffs that dont fit. i love gospel and secular but id know where to put led zepplin riffs, but he is better off with the trio of guy and russ and bill. his rendition of the star spangled banner solo was terrible. unlike him, sandy patti is good solo. she is not good in a group but she knows that and does not let people box her in. i hope he thinks twice before putting out more stuff that is bad and has bad back up musicians to boot that look like musicians froms the old johnny carson show with some sat night live dress up.

he is too talented to do this!

GOD LETS US KNOW THERE IS A TIME AND SEASON FOR
ALL THINGS, EVERYTHING CHANGES, I JUST LOST MY
HUSBAND AFTER FIFTY YEARS. I LOVE THE GAITHERS,
ANTHONY BURGER WHO PASSED AWAY, MARK AND ALL
THE OTHER ONES. EVEN KEVIN WILLIAMS. I LOVED HIM.
WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER SOON. GOD BLESS ALL OF
US. THANKS MILDRED

I'm gonna miss David's presence in the Gaither Vocal Band, however God has got bigger things for him. Hope to still see him in the near future, maybe as a guest on an homecoming DVD/Video. Good Luck & God Bless.

We are faithful followers of the Vocal Band and love their music. We really miss Mark Lowery and David Phelps. Thank God they continue to serve the Lord and can we say "welcome" to the new guys . . .
Marsh . . . congratulations on the gorgeous baby!
Keep making beautiful music ... especially for those of us who can't sing a single note!

I adore David,Guy and Mark with bill ...that is the true Gaither Vocal Band....I like the others but this group I wish the Lord would put back together! I love Russ Taff but as I said this was the true group and I'm praying In The Name Of Jesus they will all be together again and stay that way and never part again....I love the whole bunch but like a Great Cake and you leave out 2 ingredients it's not the same now is it?...LOL God Bless You and please reunite!!!!!

The Gaither show had several in the past but one or two major draws lately that kept people coming.
All the others have passed on and you have left, the new singers are not bad but arn't even singing in the same world you sing in. It's not worth tuning in or buying their CD's now. They wrote some good music for you but now they have no one to really sing it.
