The problem is the Church has had teaching after teaching after teaching and no real "experiences" with God, So when God comes, the Church doesnt recognise it as a move of God.

And all this stuf about an "agenda", When God comes, there is no "man made" agenda.

After much skepticism, I strongly believe this is a move of God.

Why would somone try to silence Todd by killing him?
Thats what happened last week, someone tried to kill Todd, thats why you will now see a bodyguard(s) on stage at the meetings!
The devil is trying to shut Todd up now, the devil is getting worried.

Stop the hate and read your Bible.
The devil wouldnt be raising people from the dead would he? Besides, satan wants you dead.

Peace.

i think todd bentley is awesome. but the one thing i cant get over is the fact that he got tatoos after gettin saved.knowin fully well what the bible sez bout them.and the rings and the lip stud.is there any explanation as to why he has the millions of tatoos?the mind bogles.its not right to judge sum1 by appearance but the fact that he had all these tatoos while in ministry leaves a lot to be desired.i hope there is an explanation for this

none the less as Paul sez in the bible...the word is still being preached

Can you show me the scripture in the bible where it says NOT to get tattoos please, the only one most people argue is leviticus,

"You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh on account of the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the LORD."
Does this verse really condemn all tattoos?

Read it properly Leviticus 19:26-31 deals with pagan practices and God's prohibitions against adopting those practices. In verse 28, God is warning the Jewish people about a pagan practice at funerals, where pagans would mutilate/mark themselves to appease their false gods. The pagans hoped that by cutting themselves and marking images/symbols of idols on their bodies, that they would obtain favour in the afterlife from their false gods, both for themselves and for those who just died.

So can you find anything else????

Maybe your body is a temple................. Paul is not opposing tattoos but warning the residents of Corinth about the dangers of sexual promiscuity, especially in the pagan practice of having sex with ritual prostitutes

i have tattoos and i have had them done since i have been a christian, they help me with my ministry, there a talking point to non christians with tattoos, and help minister

People raised from the dead ? I don't think so. At death a Christian depaers to be WITH CHRIST which is Far Better. Who would want to return to a fallen world which, by comparison, is FAR WORSE.

If anyone has read the life story of Nicky Cruz in Run Baby Run and The Cross And The Switchblade we would reasise that before his conversion he was a thoroughly disreputable gang leader in New York. Nicky now seems a polite and sincere person in his sixties doing Gods work. In his teens he was a viscous and cruel gangster. This is what God can do, and we must praise him for this.

Chris,

Thank you for sharing your experience - there are far too many negative accounts by people who have never been to the revival claiming it has been fake. I, for one, believe God is using Todd in the most wonderful way. Like you say, Todd's past is quite shocking and through using him shows just how strong God's love and forgiveness is.

By watching the revival on God TV - a channel I never before would have thought of watching, I have renewed my faith and begun reading the bible - I'm finding God is showing me the things I do not understand in my day to day life - slowly things begin to make sense. Gone is my depression I had before - it's great that Jesus is alive and sharing his time with us right now! I am so excited with what is happening - praise the Lord!

I am not bothered by Bentley's personal appearance it is what he says that bothers me. Regarding some of his claims.Bentley says that the angels took him up to heaven and performed some kind of operation placing numerous white boxes inside him. On another occasion when preaching,he claimed he was so tired because the previous night he had been traveling(in his spirit)around the world healing people!!Now I don't know about you but these experiences sound like classic alien abduction or New Age out of body experiences. He also claimed that,on a visit to heaven,St Paul told him that Abraham helped him write the letter to the Hebrews!!(See Wikipedia entry on Bentley). In spite of all this thousands are taking him seriously and flocking to listen to him without asking any questions when it is quite obvious his claims are weird.

Chris Cole says:"His tattoos offend the religious mind set which is probably one of the many reasons why God is using this fearless disciple of God."Now I do not have a problem with tattoos(I have one myself)but why does God feel the need to be so divisive? Is that really how the God of peace really works?I suspect God has better things to do than to bring division to the Body of Christ through a tattooed man who makes strange and unbiblical claims for the supernatural.
