I realize that the generation that was coming up doing the time of Inez Andrews love the Lord just as the generation of today, but it seems like the songs then sound like something. Some of these songs that this generation sing I just turn the radio off, you can hardly understand what they are saying.
I loved to hear Ms. Andrews sing, now when I hear her songs it make me think about the days that are behind me and thank God that this mine that I have still is intuned with the good Lord. Any change that I make, I put God first.
Thanks, Ms. Andrews for singing anointing songs that God gave you and you did not turn and go in another directions for BIG BUCKS.
God bless and keep you.

I love Inez Andrews and she is my favorite singer in the world. It was the early 90's or late 80's when i first heard her gospel sound. I was so impressed by her sincere delivery until i would listen to her music for hours. She is one of the LIVING QUEENS OF GOSPEL and i will tell anyone this fact. Keep going strong Inez Andrews remember age is just a number and their are many younger people who know who you are!!!!!!!!!!!God Bless You!!!!!

I first met Inez Andrews in 1965 ..while I was singing as one of the James Cleveland Singers. Our groups appeared and traveled throughout this country together Inez,Albertina,Josephine,Cassietta and Shirley (James Herndon was their-The Caravans- pianist then) I can't tell you how awesome it was to whitness their performances as we traveled doing mostly one nighters all accross this land. Inez's voice and presence before the people never failed to inspirer..uplift ..She still moves the people to heaven and back even now. Thank you for writing this article about one of Gospels' greatest singers, ministers and personalities. Min. Gene Viale/James Cleveland Singer 1964-65.
