Jesus said "Ask and you will receive. ..", that promise is more than enough! My husband, son and myself , everynight during our family prayer , pray that God will reunite Rory and Wendy. All of us in the worldwide God tv family doing the same, and not expecting God to answer... impossible!!!

Chris, Thank you for sharing this important subject on the Father;s love. My wife also comes from a broken family, and I know how hard it is to really accept and understand the love of the Father. We need the Holy Spirit to pour out the Father's love in our hearts. Praying for Wendy and the Family.

What ever the reasons and issues in a marriage, I believe the husband has to make a deeper sacrifice as Jesus did for His Church. the Bible says, Husband love your wife as Christ love the Church. We as husbands need to understand this, if we do we can truly hold the fort together. That is what God has taught me.

A man (especially as grounded and exposed) doesn't just wake up and run away with another woman. All these women suggesting this have no clue about He-motions. Actually many women think men have No emotions. For a man to walk away from everything like Rory did means his frustrations have just turned into a avalanche that he could no longer hold it together. My guess is this marriage lost intimacy, heart to heart and romantic intimacy a long long time ago. listening to some things Wendy said in her 'statement', I also wonder how much Rory was 'allowed' to lead in the home and ministry or whether he just got bullied into things. God have mercy on them and restore them. But this should serve as an example for us all.

Thats unfair to Wendy Benjamin.
Silently suggesting that its probably Wendys fault is totally unfair and unnecessary.
A man commits suicide or runaway with another woman and the world starts blaming the wife! That it was probably something she did??! ..that he was bullied etc..
Rory is a full grown adult who has a will and made a decision regardless of the wreckage it all left behind......so lets leave it at that and not make useless insinuations!!!

A very sad situation for the whole family. It is easy to tell other people how to live. We have to remember we have all sinned which is why we need a Saviour. One sin isn't bigger than another. Jesus said to the Pharisee's - "He who has no sin cast the first stone". We need to pray for both Rory, Wendy and the other lady involved and pray that God would keep us from sin as well. Any kind of sin.

God will make a way where there seems to be no way. God will surely restore the Alec family and His plans can never be frustrated in the lives of the Alec family.

My heart is sad for Wendy and furious with the devil, true to his nature he seeks to steal and destroy, but God is greater.

Rory, if you read this, know: God is love. When you gave Him your life, He already knew what you would end up doing in the future. Jesus Christ still died for you all the same inorder to reconcile you to God. As long as you are breathing you can still run to God and say "I am sorry."
The devil is a liar. He will lie to you, "it is over, God will not forgive you, Christians will not forgive you or trust you." In the end you have to decide whom to believe. Believe God's love for you, get forgiveness, only the blood of Jesus washes away any sin, and fulfill your destiny or believe the devil and miss your destiny. God's arms are still wide open for you. Wendy and family: please imitate God and open your arms for Rory too. God loves you both and He heals the brocken hearted. God bless you. P.S. Choose life, choose Jesus Christ.

We are asking God to do His will for Rory and Wendy. And the children.

For me, this article -http://www.christiantoday.com/article/david.robertson.the.r eal.problem.with.god.tv.is.not.rory.alecs.moral.failure/4146 2.htm - is the best I've read on the matter. Any time I've watched God Tv they've been begging for money (often with Hinn et al in tow) or playing with people's emotions.

Years ago one of my brothers and his wife split up; it just broke my mother's heart (and the rest of the family's too) . . . she prayed for years . . . they reunited after six years and now have the most wonderful marriage . . . just celebrated their 35th anniversary with a two week vacation to europe and had an absolutely fun-filled time . . . with God all things are possible . . . everyone needs to keep their opinions to themselves and PRAY for this marriage and ministry . . .
