Hailing from Grand Bahama, Andrew Cartwright aka Mr Lynx has already created a fuss with his debut album 'Living Furnace' in 2004. On that album he demonstrated a powerful dancehall style. On 'Prophetic Fire' he has developed a soulful roots sound on some of the tracks to enhance the hard hitting beats and fiery delivery on the earlier tracks on the album. Living up to the album's title, there are prophetic songs with powerful lyrics, like the title cut, "Shine Ya Light" and "He's Coming Soon". These are balanced by a fine trio of soulful reggae tracks "Life", the remix of "Peace" and "Tomorrow (The Sun Shines 4 Me)". With a team that includes Ronnie 'DJ Frost' Cash and fellow artist Dane 'Danejahrus' Strachan, he has delivered an album that proves the Lynx Affect is only getting stronger.
