If you look on the CR website, just above my request for a Witness cd entry, you will see a source. I bought it and it's been really great and encouraging listening to it again.

Hi Folks, Here's some info. from Jimmy Owens.
"Many of our older musicals are out of print, but we recently went into a studio and had CDs made from the LPs or cassettes. We can burn CD copies for you. Here's what we have:
Listening CDs: The Witness, If My People, The Glory of Christmas, Come Together, and Ants'hillvania. The quality is pretty good, but there is occasional very slight record noise on some of them.
We also have performance split tracks available for The Witness, The Glory of Christmas, and Ants’hillvania.
Our ministry is not in the business of publishing music, but we can provide these items on an individual basis for what amounts to a fee for one-at-a-time reproduction and shipping. (Ants'hillvania is a manufactured CD, not individually burned.)
Here are the amounts, including shipping in the US. Please add $2.00 per item for shipping to other countries.
Listening CDs: $14.00
Performance tracks: $45.00 for one copy. You can make copies as needed for your own performance.
We also have music books for some of these: Ants'hillvania, The Glory of Christmas, and The Witness. Also, Ants'hillvania has a separate Production Manual.
Music books (and Ants'hillvania production manual) $10.00 for 1 copy. These are provided in PDF files on a CD. You can print copies and send $1.00 per copy. (The first copy is included in the $10.00.)

Are performance tracks still available for "The Witness"? I was part of a group that performed this musical numerous in the early '80s, and have thought about putting together a group to do it again. However, the original group was disbanded and the performance tracks on reel to reel have been lost.
Alternatively is the orchestra musical score available?

Like most of you here, I've been searching for The Witness since last year.
Last heard the tracks was some 20 years ago!
I plan to get the CD for my daughter who's in her teens. The Witness is a powerful and gifted musical which has so much to touch even today's generation.

I too would like a copy of this album. I had the book and cassette way back in 1979/80. The songs from the original are the best, especially for Hecame in love. Would be a good idea to create a link for it an allow people to download and pay for it. It is a real witness, I think. Many thanks.

I want to buy this Album of The Witness together with CD and Trax. We played this when I was in the Philippines back in 1996 . I love it. I'm a christian song collector also. How can I buy? Is it availble online? what website should I I go to?

I recently aquired some 1978 sheet music for The Witness. I have Born Again, In Love For Me, Life Giver and He Came In Love. This is a great set for any collector all in mint condition. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Yes, would love to have accompaniment CDs. My husband & I have been involved with doing The Witness for about 10 years in our community to benefit the homeless shelter. We have sound tracks but not parts. Anyone found split tracks or anything? Thanks & God Bless.

I am looking for a performace CD of this musical. Have any of you gotten CD form??? Since it was made in 1978, it's hard to find. I would love to receive a copy. I have the score performance book with sheet music. It was published by Lexicon Music, Inc out of Newbury Park, California. Just got the book today and am trying to locate it. Try sweet music.com. I spoke with them today. They are trying to locate a copy for me. Central Nazarene Church in Lenexa performed this musical for a number of years. What a powerful message.

vickie,my wife and i have been doing the witness for 30 years in hot springa ar.71909-we have a website.i have cd,s and dvd,s of our group, and the orginal music.i have one copy of barry mc..but won,t sell it.jimmey and carol have been to our show also my wife has added 4 songs.
