Reviewed by Tony May It's John Rose's voice you'll hear, handling all vocal chores. Bruce weighs in as exec producer, songwriter, arranger and keyboard man, so he certainly earns his keep. The voice is richly expressive, a fine instrument for emotional, deeply felt Jewish Messianic music. The joy and relief of discovery and sweet fulfilment flow through the songs and performances. "Holy" is fairly typical, a rejoicing that the Messiah has redeemed his people, and is set to a pounding pop/rock beat that really hits home. "Sing My Heart" is a delightful new wedding song - if it ever gets heard enough it could become well used at said events. If not, it might well come in handy at the Ultimate Wedding. "Your Gentleness" is another potential classic, based on Isaiah 42v3, which speaks of something God doesn't do even though his people do it all the time. "You Are The One", another wedding song, and "Vayomer, Hashem" (yes, you guessed, a wedding song!) feature classy guest vocalists Wendy Price, Debbie Chernoff and Marlene Rosenberg. The Messianic Movement is turning out some wonderful music. Check it out via Ha Devar. Ask for Ruth.
