Gospel worship ministry DTWG has grown much from it's beginnings in 2003, during which time the team have successfully hosted a considerable number of community based events in London and Manchester. This project album was released in the summer of 2008 featuring a collective of musicians and singers from churches around England with all songs bar one being written or co-written by DTWG leaders Samuel Adebanjo. Overall production of the CD both in visual and audio terms is hard to fault with a very slick presentation and a clear, well balanced music/vocal mix. Tracks range from the massively energetic and typically gospel-style "Trading" with its complex drum patterns and brass section accompaniment and the excellent R&B number "Oh Lord My God" to the icy-chilled "This Is Why" ballad which I thought was one of the outstanding elements of the album. The majority of songs are rather relaxed affairs which allow the group's strengths to come to the fore and showcase their originality and vocal talents. Tracks are interwoven by occasional speaking that at one point descended into a sort of rap which personally sent me reaching for the fast forward. Despite that, DTWG have produced a quality piece of work.

Must say it is good to be inspired. The album is good, and I particularly enjoyed 'O Lord my God' and the song number 4 with Kristina Myles. Way to go.

I have a copy of this album and i think its fantastic! It displays variety in its song styles and lyrically is great and proves that UK gospel is on the way up. I recommend you purchase a copy for yourself and one for someone else...lol
