As the name might suggest, this album is a remix of the Georgia band's second outing, 'Dance Or Die'. As is often the case in dance music circles the tracks have been given a fresh lease of life by having someone else remix them. The remixers here read like a who's who and range from 3OH!3 through Alex Suarez (Cobra Starship) and Nico Hartikainen (Danger Radio) to Matt Thiessen (Relient K). This variety, along with the original albums lack of focus on a particular style, has lead to a very eclectic mix which is wonderfully shown in the three extra tracks, two of which are additional remixes of tracks already included on the album. "Rip It Up" particularly has two very different treatments, an almost punk dance with screamed vocals version and an electro-rock version with heavily vocodered vocals - unless you listen hard to the lyrics you would not know they were the same underlying track. The songs are well written, will go down a storm on the dance floor and are different enough from the originals to mean that this is well worth getting even if you have the original album.
