Further Seems Forever are one band with a difficult past. Now on to their third lead vocalist in three albums after Chris Carrabba and Jason Gleason both jumped ship, it seems the band have struck gold with the addition of former SenseField vocalist Jon Bunch. This boy can SING. The other members of FSF had entirely recorded the music before Bunch joined the band, and what the singer is presented with is probably the band's most immediate material to date. "Light Up Ahead" and "Already Gone" are strong examples of the punky emo-ish sound they seem to be going for and while spirituality is inferred rather than spelt out, this set of songs is undoubtedly their strongest to date. All in all, an album which should see Further Seems Forever cementing their place at the centre of the underground rock scene. You only have to hope for them that some stability now ensues.
