Reviewed by Megumi Nakamura "A God size message demands a God size megaphone." With such a bold statement, I honestly did not know what to expect when I turned the speakers up. The music is defiantly raucous - and loud. It's your typical rock band, but a with a rare sort of passionate playing, and a sound not dissimilar to hitmakers rock band Creed. Woven throughout each of the songs are honest and sincere stories of what God has taught the band so far and how he has used, even their most difficult times, for his glory. Also tackled in this album are several current issues facing teenagers, including sexuality, pornography and just a hunger for more of God. Striking videos and Gen X impacting songs like "Use Me" and the touching "Prodigal Dad", which calls for fathers to live up to their responsibilities, really hit home. With such edgy music and impressive, encouraging lyrics, GS Megaphone have definitely earned themselves the right to be heard, if not through a megaphone, at least through a CD.

its so interesting to see how many people love GSM! Ben and Randy Shreve are my cousins and ive grown up with them for 19 years so far. Ive seen them transition into a band so wonderful. Im proud to say theyre family and its great to have watched them grow as a band and as men of God throughout the years. It upsets me that the band broke up but even now people love them and listen to their music. GSM and my cousins will always be a diamond among a pile of rocks.
