Cross Rhythms listeners may well remember the pop team Addison Road. Jenny was their lead singer and this 2014 released mini-album is her second shot as a solo. It shows her consummate vocal skill in many genres and demonstrates her songwriting development to provide songs full of hope and salvation whilst reflecting the highs and lows of real life. "Be My Healer" is a wistful request for Jesus to provide wholeness, lightly backed by subtle piano and swirling strings with clever use of sparkling cymbal to highlight certain phrases. "God Of The Open Arms" has a country vibe with nicely restrained steel guitar, neatly strummed acoustic guitar and smooth bass backing a tale of "return of the prodigal" while a cover of Amy Grant's "Lead Me On" falls short of the classic original.
