The sleeve pic of American Johnny posing in a stable with Stetson on head and holding his guitar - with bits of horses in shot - might suggest country music but acoustic/roots is a better classification. Another classification would be awful. Dreadful singing, "Things Been Good" has to be heard to be believed, guitar which is sometimes out of tune and simplistic songs which are no doubt born out of passionate devotion to Christ, but as "performed" here are impossible to listen to. One of the worst CDs Cross Rhythms has ever been sent to review.
