Minds Of Men (read about them in CR27) are a four-piece dance group based in Birmingham whose work for the recent Cross Rhythms dance album included an "Original Mix" of this song, now released on 12" for Global Grooves (partly owned by group member Piers Sanderson). The lead singer with MOM is Tracey Riggan, whom some will remember from her solo album 'Friends' or from black gospel group Divine, and she sings with just as much passion here, though it's very much a club anthem, so vocals are fairly limited. Four mixes are available, two by New York's premier inspirational dance man, DJ Disciple, of which the "SURE Mix" is very good and the "Shout Dub" average. The flip side has mixes by Minds Of Men themselves, the first being superb and the second okay in a dubby kinda way. The most vocal mixes have more lyrics than the "Original Mix". There's some good music here that's bound to be popular with dance enthusiasts everywhere.
