Rich vocals make what could be a middle-of-the-road album stand out. May Milton's fine tones never miss a note and the sound is enhanced by strong backing vocalists. This promising Scottish newcomer has produced a selection of well chosen, well arranged tracks with an upmarket feel. Just like the title promises, the album is lyrically unthreatening; it is an assurance of the Christian's place before God. A track worth singling out is "I Will Arise And Go To Jesus": hard to pin down, it seems to fall somewhere between a ballad and a Celtic hymn. "Lord, You've Given Me So Much" is a fine devotional number which is simple without being naive. Although it consists largely of cover versions (Amy Grant's "Arms Of Love" among them), this debut indicates considerable music promise as well as great potential for ministry.
