Well here's the 2009 addition to San Jose songstress Miss Kristin's repertoire. Unfortunately this jack of all trades multi-instrumentalist has fashioned an album with poor mixing, shoddy timing and bad production together with several mistakes that should have been sorted out in post production. The songs in of themselves give a thought provoking message, although lyrically they are somewhat juvenile with strained rhyming and forced phraseology. The redeeming feature to this album is that after listening just once you will be pottering about doing whatever you do humming her songs and wondering where they are from. The best track on the album "Potter's Clay" the lyrics "You are./You are the answer/You are the potter, I am the clay" convey the idea that we are all here to be moulded in any way God sees fit. Apart from a messy acoustic guitar part this song demonstrates generally proficient musicianship. Miss Kristin writes catchy songs. With the right production and musicians she could make a good album. This isn't it.
