Having released an EP and some singles previously, this is the debut album from Zimbabwe-born, South London-based worship leader Nyasha T. Ably supported by his backing band United Praisers, Nyasha covers a wide expanse of ground stylistically ranging from pop and Afrobeat to contemporary gospel with the joyful opener "Shine Your Light" paving the way for an album that seeks to encourage, uplift and bless the believer at every turn. Producer Enoch John does a great job in ensuring that his client's output has enough individuality to stand out from the modern worship crowd with the EDM-based "Jump To The Beat" and slick gospel of "He's The Way" sitting comfortably next to more standard worship fare like "Open The Doors" and the Christmas-themed "So We Lift Up" whilst Nyasha puts in an accomplished vocal performance that is powerful, genuine and top notch throughout. A fine vocal from Margeaux in the stirring "Make Me Whole" plus a raft of other guest appearances adds further variety to proceedings before Nyasha ends his impressive debut by referencing his roots in the African-tinged "Come To Praise" and "Ndimi (You Are)".
