Seeker & Servant is a band that was started in late 2012 by American brothers Cameron and Chandler Wood as an acoustic group. A couple of months later in early 2013 they added a third member, Kody Gautier, to complete the band. Seeker & Servant mainly use a solo voice to provide the melody line but really need a supporting lead instrument to help strengthen the melody. Also, 'Into Your Love, I Go' is rather repetitive lyrically and musically isn't helped by a plunky keyboard sound which dominates most of the songs. The church standard hymn "How Deep The Father's Love" starts off the album. It is given a slightly amended tune and a new chorus ("I was a wreck when you saved me"). At the outset chords from the electric piano, with a nod towards the Lightning Seeds, lead into the first verse of the hymn and promise more than they deliver, as additional instrumentation is added leaving the sound rather messy and nothing spectacular is added to this well-known song. Clearly the group are still a work in progress.
