If not a marriage made in Heaven, getting the electro-bluegrass worshipper to guest on Miami's most talented hip-hop twosome is close to it. It has a great sung hook from Mr Crowder and flows from Fern and Marty which deliver their testimonies with skill and wit. Fern, with his jail cell experiences, comes first ("I remember like yesterday still clear as day/When I felt I had my whole future stripped away/Should've known better I failed to heed/Speeding through the lanes I was looking for the better me/Feeding my desires, ignoring my royal pedigree/Bloodline from the Heavens, still slept in a penitentiary.") Equally telling is Marty's ("Does God still remember I'm here/I need some day delivery for some of my prayers/I close my eyes when my stress and anxiety flare/If it comes up like stars, I know right on time my God is there."). A brilliant combination deliver a brilliant single.
