It's not bad this. Firstly, it's not American (see my other reviews in this month's mag) which roughly means quite a bit of thought has gone into it! Produced and programmed by Paul Field, he has at least managed to get the three school choirs to sound as if they enjoyed singing these new songs. "Boing" is a hoot and should be sung in every church, although having said that it might lose all the fun and end up as a requiem in some! My only real gripe on what is a well constructed project is that I hate programmed music! Give me a band and real instruments anyday! So imagine my surprise when on the final track, I heard a rip-roaring guitar solo on Sammy Horner's now classic "The Blessing"! Trouble was the solo wasn't long enough but it just added that little bit extra to the track. It really is worth hearing this version. Vocalists include Ishmael ("I've Become All Things", a track written by him) and the producer of the album himself. To summarise then, well done Mr Field and co for a valiant effort. Next time, though, ask for a massive budget and get real musicians in the studio, not your computer!

Oh my days! i am 13 now, but when i was in year 6 in St
Pauls C. OF E. Primary School I sung in that! it was the
best! the best song we sung was A Letter Of Love. Good
Times. I loved all of it. it was the best time of my life to
record those songs.
