It isn't easy to teach children the Bible, to trust God and to worship him but this sixth compilation from Spring Harvest conveys these messages in a generally well-produced, entertaining way. The album is packaged with a second CD providing backing tracks and the production is by that always reliable keyboard maestro Mark Edwards. The first song, by Doug Horley, "Hi 5" is a rap with body moving lyrics. Memorising the books of the Bible is easy with Dave Godfrey's "66 Books, 1 Author" to the rhythm of "Spirit In The Sky" - clever! Matt Redman's "Our God" has meaningful words but the '80s Howard Jones-like vocal is a bit annoying. Becky and Nick Drake contribute two of the best songs here with "God Is Here" and "Our God's Generous". The last track is a version of the Newsboys' "I Am Free". All in all, up to the usual standards of the Kids Praise Party series.
