I really like this. Pitching music at the tiny tots, as many American albums demonstrate, often results in enough cheese to keep 10 Kraft factories fully supplied. But there's no forced jolliness and patronising talking down going on here. Just excellent songs (I almost joined in wiggling my fingers and touching my nose on Andrew and Pauline Pearson's Wiggle Your Fingers), excellent singers (would you believe that hugely underrated Ausie Jenny Legg and that New Zealand-born worship man David Lyle Morris?) and a snappy production from Neil Davidson. Obviously, this is not a cassette for the cool dudes of Christendom. But if you're looking for a tape which will feed truth to your three or five year old, while still enabling you to retain your sanity, this is it. In its own way a classic.
