This album of studio recordings, like its predecessors sets out to provide new worship songs for the Church and succeeds in that, though with so many worship songs being recorded nowadays new collections have to be really outstanding to make an impact. I think this collection, while being competent enough falls short of excellence. One of the CDs is electric, but not that heavy, while the second disc uses only acoustic settings. Vocals across both discs are by Kate Cooke, Sam Cox, Nicki Rogers, and Josh Rumble, with the renowned Cathy Burton joining in for the acoustic set, though no indication is given as to who is taking lead vocal on any particular track. Standout tracks on CD 1 include the beautiful "Lend Me Your Heart" and the heartfelt prayer "Christ in Me". On CD 2 "The Lamb Has Conquered" is a lovely reflective piece graced by fine vocal harmonies, while "All Glory" is sung with confidence and conviction. "We Still Believe" is a very personal declaration of faith even in difficult times - "From the soaring wings/To the shattered dream". Apart from use in church the songs on CD 2 are particularly suited to personal prayer time.
