This is a bunch of new worship songs cut in the studio by Esther Alexander, Nigel Briggs, Cathy Burton, John Perry and Mal Pope, with varying quality, with the songs penned by the usual suspects - Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and Graham Kendrick among others. This is a double CD, the second of which contains 10 acoustic songs for all of those who have a slight aversion to worship 'n' roll songs. The acoustic CD is consistently atmospheric and in its nakedness sounds more real than the electric one. Having said this, there are a few songs on the first CD which will frequently be sung by churches all over, most notably "With All I Am" (which is incidentally covered also on the acoustic CD), "Countless Are The Mercies" and "Nothing But The Blood".

Product Description
The first New Songs album with a title reflecting the theme of the main event. Sing combines exceptional new worship songs with a further set of stripped-down acoustic arrangements, here for the first time is a resource that shows how the songs we fall in love with at major events can be successfully translated into a smaller setting. A heart-stirring soundtrack for personal worship, Sing is also a genuinely unique collection of songs for vibrant and intimate worship and will help many bands at a local level, better interpret today’s most powerful new songs.
All songs from Sing can be found in the Praise 2005/06 songbook.
