Well, this is news to me. I knew the deceased anti-Apartheid campaigner was an icon of the social justice movement, but I never knew he'd been made a saint! Only kidding; I have to write something about this CD, and with practically nothing in the way of artist info supplied, I'm finding it hard to say anything about this curiously-named African artist. The CD tells me nothing about him - but listening to it he sounded like he was singing in Twi (a Ghanaian language), and his brand of reggae sounds similar to that of many West African artists, so I'd hazard a guess and say he's from Ghana. The CD starts promisingly, but the opening track goes on a bit longer than it should have, and it sags from then on, with the non-English reggae offerings working better than anything else. There are some good tries, but on the whole nothing here really reaches out and grabs you.
