Right from John Wimber's time, Vineyard have been known for the power and intimacy of their worship while the UK arm of the movement have brought a bit more rock and roll urgency into the musical proceedings. The record label's strap line is "from the church, for the church" and here they are using songs submitted from Vineyard churches and led by local worship leaders. Ranging from up-tempo rock to reflective acoustic many of the tracks here are standouts. "We Need More" is a strong intro to the album, with a theme of invocation. Perhaps the most powerful for me was the slower "No Longer Strangers", sung so passionately by Dana Masters. Dave Miller wrote "All For You" with its key line "I'll be a fool for you, Jesus". I love the cool lead guitar cranking up the excitement. It's a song that's simple enough to be sung in house groups or small churches, but, like all the tracks, the live version here goes to a new level. The title track is delivered superbly by Joni Everson and is based on Psalm 23's theme of trusting in God. There are several songs, like "Rescuer" by Dave Miller, with the anthemic chorus we have come to expect, although "Bring Me Back" by Jon Holley is just as strong in its own way. Maybe not quite up there alongside Vineyard UK's classics 'Come Now Is The Time To Worship' and 'Hungry', 'Waterfalls' is still a recommended resource for the worshipping Church.
