The stunning "junk-funk" outfit from Plymouth return with another collection of "No-Fi" compositions beaten mercilessly out of an assortment of gas piping, kitchen sinks, oil drums, shopping trolleys, scaffolding - need I go on'. Those of you who saw them at Greenbelt will be pleased to hear the sounds of the wonderful bass machine (made out of really big plastic pipes hit with two dustpans). "Kiss Me" stands out as an example of the versatility of this instrument as it bashes out a fair version of the bass line from the Stranglers' "Peaches". I'm not sure whether the inclusion of Oasis lyrics in "Mad 4 It" is a tribute or a sideswipe al the stroppy '90s Beatles but whatever it is it's there and you can't ignore it. Also included is yet another mix of the WOS classic "Do No Spray". You need to see this band play live to really understand their impact, but meantime the recordings are a truly original accomplishment amidst a sea of clones.
