If you were to roll all your expectations for a traditional hardcore album into one, you would end up with a recording fairly close to this debut outing from these Florida-based rockers. Frenzied guitars whip up a fierce commotion over a solid drum rhythm whilst lyrics are spat with venom and edge in an uncompromising fashion. Added to this, the overall production is not too polished as to wipe out any energy or live feel. With Increase, however, develop their sound compared to similar acts with the inclusion of slower more melodic passages. Tracks such as "Fort Lonesome" step out of a typical pit circling rage and impress with sheer power and relentless thumping. "Comatose" builds on this style with a much slower shouted delivery, leaving the listener in no doubt as to their spiritual stance. Alongside some dirty, sludgy riffing on these slower tracks, With Increase also step up the pace and show they can drive these 10 short tracks with as much energy as the best of the genre. "Untitled" and "The Accuser" both contain some blistering guitar work. This is old school hardcore with enough invention and variety to add a fresh slant and keep the music relevant and exciting.
