My church and I were really deeply sad about the news, but u know what ...there's still hope. Jesus still loves u even when we fall, the Lord is with you Terry, just stand up and say NO to the devil.
Your songs have been a great blessing to my soul, i came to know the love of God through your songs Terry.
My pastor and all the members of Awakening of the Church have been praying for you and we will still continue. Please i ask everyone in the body of Christ to pray especially for our leaders in the Church, for many at the moment are fallen. Our prayers of sincere heart will change the situation.
God Bless you all.
Terry we love you still.

To God be the Glory, Were sin abound, Grace abound much more. Man of God, God is not through with you. Rise up and clear your heart with God almighty, He answered Samson, so He is ready to answer and restore you. The earnest expectation of the worship world is to see you restored and take up the mantle worship leading. The Lord will handle every other thing as regards your wife, children and the Ministry for the heart of all is in the hand of God and like the rivers.......... Get up and let the work continue!! in Jesus name

Terry, I ask who among us can cast the first stone, not me I have failed miserably but my Lord and Saviour was right there to here my repentent heart. I still and will always listen to your music it is stilled played in our morning prayer on Sunday mornings to usher in the presence of the Lord. Terry I know you know the word and the hardest thing is to forgive ourselves But my God is merciful and Gracious. Hebrews 12 understanding that those that have gone on before us that have sined and repented and God has forgiven The Music the Lord has put within you as he Did David is very much needed I am no one special but I am a child of God and I know He loves you and still desires to use you. We love you Terry you may have already settled it with the Lord. Your sister in the Lord Delaine

I know that God forgives and restores, but a soul has to be repentant, and from the sounds of this, Terry has chosen to leave his family-- and the ministry.. probably to follow a path with the woman with whom he had the initial affair over a year ago. He needs to step down from the ministry and get some healing time in. No doubt he is annointed, but his ministry is tarnished because of his actions.

Terry and Greta,
I am in a difficult place in my life and marriage. Although I feel like giving up and don't see how things can work, I am choosing to push back my feelings and making one painful obedient step at a time. It is very painful, but at the same time, each day I feel a bit lighter and I feel God changing me. Much of my time in prayer is with your worship. It is part of my healing and strength. I pray you will choose this way. I pray for comfort for the brokenness that comes with healing for you and your family.

Hi Terry:

I have been following your music ministry for the last decade or more. I must say that the gifting of God in you it truly amazing and has ministered to me and my family on countless occasions. I have all of your CD’s.
In the past 5 years I have gone through two types of cancer, in the middle of the night the only comfort I got was from the Lord through your music. On one of those dark days while listening to the song “Heal Me” God totally healed me and the cancer totally disappeared. I still have the medical records showing on one date I had cancer and on another date two months later it was gone with no medical treatment.
I can only say THANK YOU for allowing God to use you as his vessel.
With that being said I know of the dark days that have fallen on you in the last few year. I have been praying for you and today I looked to see if you have returned to your calling (Rom 11:29).
I know how something like you have experienced could derail you for the rest of your life but I hope it doesn’t. Just today as I was pondering if I should say something to you or not, on TV were two ministers on two separate Christian stations one was Jimmy Swaggart and the other was Jim Baker both were put on the shelf for a season and then came back Broken, Humbled, and Forgiven (John 8: 1-11, Ps 130: 1-4,) and their gifting continues.

I can’t tell you what to do but for me I would rather hear a Broken man stand in his brokenness and share out of a heart of brokenness that any one who has not experienced the purifying fire of God. (Rom 3:23)

God Bless, I still believe for God’s best in your Life

terry,

Lunch with the Lord changed the whole climate and purpose in my spiritual walk. Gathering every week to worship and have the glory fall on all who attended. Nothing compares to being in the very presence of the Lord. So many miracles, so many testimonies of restoration of the Body and relationships that were strained united. Oh the beauty of that!

So how is it possible, for a man with a gifting so unique, so strong, so in tune with the heavenlies. Was not able to have restoration, reconciliation in his marriage? Was God not as big for you in this area? How is it that evil won (divorce) between two beautiful charismatic pentecostal people living for the same purpose? There is no sense at all in this.

And you are starting up Nights of Glory again in TX, why? If isn't true or real in your own walk, if the power of the living Lord isn't enough for you and Greta, then I don't see the point at all of you ministering. How can you lift up Jesus, magnify the Lord of Lords, and be divorced from a godly woman? Those don't gel. I am not judging, honest, I am earnestly trying to process this horrific attack on the Body. And seriously, my heart just aches over it. Severing families isn't what our Lord is about, what our faith is about, and it is just overwhelmingly sad!

Terry,

No doubt you have an awesome talent, but leaving your wife and sons voids your leadership role in the Kingdom. What we need is leaders going the distance, withstanding tough times and being victorious. You said it was it was too tough. Nothing is impossible with God, nothing. Marriage is a life commitment, bailing out is not of God, it is the way of the world. You took a bride, please HONOR that for Kingdom sake. Your music, your words tells us we are the Bride. How valuable and precious we the Bride of Christ are. But you chucked your bride, and for what to sing about God's love for His bride...hmmm not seeing how this works.

Ministry 101-Honor your vows and commitments. You represent the Lord, you entered into covenant, became His alone, a vessel, a Body part to serve and guide the people. Leaders have a solemn duty to do it RIGHT, and show the way. Not perfectly, in our weakness He is victor.
Marriage is a covenant. It is binding, it means forgoing your individuality to become His unit to represent Him in the world. Forsaking and leaving your bride, 3 sons, and a grandson is the wrong choice for a surrendered spirit filled Christian, period. That is scriptural. Certainly a choice, but now that the covenant is broken by divorce, you have dismissed your right to lead the Bride in spirit and truth. Please use your anointing for anything but leadership of the Bride.

We are not to mimic the world, we are to be a light on how it is to be done. You promised/sealed a covenant to love, honor, and cherish your Bride until death parted you. Don't mock the Kingdom by thinking you can have it your way. That isn't servanthood, that is selfishness. And selfishness can't lead in the Kingdom.
Lines are blurring on values, morals, and giving the impression that we can dictate how it should be according to our own standards, feelings, desires, and "rights". That is being the creator, and you as a believer have NO right to that role, you are the clay.

It will be interesting to see if this is published.

A friend said, "Need to keep those eyes on Jesus." I thought about it and wondered if I'd taken my eyes off Jesus and looked instead at man, because today my heart ached as I read about this ministry and family that have been devastated. The enemy has tried to steal a precious gift of God from a family and those who find themselves like me, a little closer to Him as we immerse ourselves in this beautiful, Spirit-filled worship. I pray that God will be give you the desire and the strength to fight to restore what the locusts are eating; 1 Corinthians 10:13
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." May God bless your whole family abundantly and drive out all that is not from Him and be given glory in all of this.

God does not rejoice in our falling and broken hearts, but He finds pleasure in picking us up from our dead ends to fashion us as he wants as to present us to himself, because he wants us to only boast in him and give Him glory whether in the valley below or while on the mountain top. Terry isn't going anywhere, but coming back and he's gonna do great things still because the Great One isn't done with him
