My mother had Jummy and Carol Owens "If My People" and "Come together" when I was about five years old. I am trying to get hold of a tape or CD of both of these fantastic tapes that bring back fond memories! Could you assist?

When I got saved in Cameron Africa in 1994 the come together tape fire in my soul. The only copy I could find with a pastor in another city unfortunately got missing in 1998. Since then I've dreamt and pleaded with God to help find it!! I made several fruitless searches in the internet even to find Jim and Carol owen, unit today when I realised the name was Jimmy not Jim. I believe this is a miracle from the lord. Please send me the link to purchase the CD immediately. Even if its expensive I'll buy it because I know what It will do to my soul. Praise God! I'm so happy, its a miracle! After years of praying to find Jimmy and Corol, I've finally reached them via the internet. I'm now in Clemson University for a graduate programme.

You are legally allowed to make 1 copy for your own use under the law in this country.
Do you own a copy of Come Together? If so then you are perfectly within your rights to copy onto CD, for your use.

The problem that is faced is one of copyright as the original LP and cassette were released in the UK, but there never has been a CD issued. If the LP or cassette is then put on CD, there is an actual breach of copyright and therefore the action is illegal.

I want to find a copy of "Come Together". The one I have is 8 track. Please let me know if I can purchase it on cassette or CD. I am a child of God and would love to have a more recent copy.

I emailed Jimmy Owens directly and he burned me a copy of the album. They only charged me $14, and didn't charge me shipping. His email address is jimmyowens@roadrunner.com. I paid him through Paypal, but he'll send you an email with other options.
I also got a copy for my mother, she loved this album too. I grew up listening to this all the time.. it was awesome!!
