One thing's for certain listening to Skrillz's second EP release is that he's serious about his faith and the music he writes. "Please Remind Me" and "I'm Focussed" talk about the daily grind that the hip-hop rapper is devoted to, pledging his life to the art he's creating insisting that is all for God. "No More" is about a toxic relationship the Latino artist can no longer cope with watching self-destruct. The emphasis that is put on righteous living regardless of the sacrifice that will inevitably involve is both striking and challenging to the listener. With some slight alterations to the production dynamics of the tracks this could certainly grab the attention of hip-hop listeners far and wide giving the message that extra kick it deserves but in its current form 'Hundred Proof' is just one more so-so hip-hop release.
