Can't get enough of it. Another slice of acappella finesse, mixed voice ensemble packed with the good stuff. This set of vocalists have cracked the art of razor sharp vocal blending while maintaining a gritty, soulful sound. Slight flaw in that there's occasionally a gulping for breath, particularly from one of the male soloists. Perfectly understandable mind you, but constituting a bit of a blemish. Nice selection of new songs, in the usual p&w style, but with plenty of beef and vocal challenge. The Keith Lancaster/George Prendergrass quality guarantee all over it makes this a very pleasing offering. Hope you've got around to discovering this excellent music.
